Dr. Hogly Wogly's Tyler Texas BBQ was built in 1969 by Johnny Greene,
a former Piggly Wiggly delivery boy from Texas.
He
was such a big guy that his wife said you're not a Piggly Wiggly but a Hogly Wogly.
He later became a pharmacologist.
Hence, the name Dr. Hogly Wogly's Tyler Texas
BBQ.
Most of the cooks have
been working at this valley institution for over 20 years. Not much has changed and our menu is
relatively simple. No burgers, No salads... just focus on making the best BBQ ever. I hope
